Description

Before: KENNEDY and MARTIN, Circuit Judges; and DUMBAULD, Senior District Judge.* Order Harrell, an Ohio state prison inmate, appeals the dismissal of his claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging that certain Ohio prison officials violated his constitutional rights in the course of exercising their policy of censoring incoming prison mail. The lower court dismissed the suit because Harrell alleged only a single interference with his mail. This court has held that single, isolated actions do not state a violation of a constitutional magnitude. Cattam v. Cox, No. 80-3138 (6th Cir. 1980). See Morgan v. Montanye, 516 F.2d 1367 (2d Cir. 1975), cert. denied, 424 U.S. 973 (1976).
